About Us: Mark and Rebecca Koenig, EP! Weddings & Design, LLC

J Mark Koenig, principal photographer and owner of EP! began taking photos at the ripe ol' age of 15 while in high school and has continued ever since, photographing everything from sports and events to weddings for friends and family. He received encouragement from a fellow photographer in 2007 to begin advertising our photography and next thing you know, a on-location studio is born. EP! became an extension of everything weddings in 2009 after some rebranding and refocus of our efforts in 2008.

Rebecca Koenig, photographer and designer, began helping her husband at the end of 2008 and became the 2nd photographer in 2010. She continues her education toward a fine art degree in art and photography and WKCTC and Murray State University with plans to graduate in 2013.

Katherine Doty came to EP! in 2010 as a summer intern through DuPage college in the Chicagoland area and has recently relocated to Murray, Kentucky to continue her role as a photographer and editor as well as operating her own home based studio.

Thomas, our ten year old son, began shooting with us back in November as a second shooter from Mark's brother's wedding in Nashville, TN.

We welcome a host of suppliers in the EP! family, including Smugmug.com for our online storefront and GraphiStudio SPA in Italy. Our online proofing and album suppliers are the best in the industry and reflect our brand's commitment to quality products. Meantime our Senior clients proofing is provided by SmugMug! The year 2012 is a very busy time for us, as January means the kickoff of the new wedding season and February brings shoots in Las Vegas and beyond. In March, spring sessions and continued photographer education classes will yield new avenues for image capture as we continue to grow.

Also this year we will open our studio fulltime for our Wedding and Senior portraiture clients, with studio hours Tuesday thru Friday each week and weekends by appointment.
